Biography
Rebecca Legon is an adaptive sportswoman, presenter, model and inclusion advocate. Born with a limb difference, she has built a career around challenging perceptions of disability and showing what is possible through adaptive sport, movement and wellbeing.
Rebecca has represented England in amputee football and now plays for the UK on the Inclusive Padel Tour. She describes padel as the most inclusive sport she has ever played. With the LTA second-bounce adaptation for above-knee amputees and wheelchair users, the playing field is levelled, allowing disabled and non-disabled players to step onto the same court, compete in the same leagues and be part of the same sporting community.
For Rebecca, this is the true meaning of inclusion - not being separated by disability, but being welcomed, with adaptation, into the padel community as an equal player.
